How it works

A place, a question, a person who is actually there.

Boyoung is not a feed. It is a small, deliberate exchange between someone who needs to know what is happening now and someone close enough to help.

Place, not person

The three moves

Short enough to stay current.

Pick a place

Search one of the four Seongsu places in the alpha. The 1 km radius is measured from that place, not from your phone. Anyone available inside it can appear.

Ask what matters

Write one question up to 1,000 characters. Select up to five nearby people. Each recipient sees only their own thread; recipients never see one another.

Read and rate

Replies stay attached to the question. When an answered conversation closes, a satisfied questioner can leave one score from 1 to 10. Ratings describe the answer, not the person’s worth or certainty.

Boundaries that make it useful

Five by default

High answer ratings can earn a limit of ten recipients per question. No one starts there.

Thirty minutes

A recipient who has not replied 30 minutes after receiving a question closes their thread automatically.

Separate threads

Declining or closing one conversation never closes another recipient’s private thread.

No invented scores

A person without ratings has no rating shown. Proximity is not proof that someone is inside a venue.

What it is not

Not a map of people. Not a feed. Not a promise of certainty.

Being nearby does not mean someone is inside a venue or can observe the exact thing you asked about. Boyoung helps you ask; the answer is still a person’s report.

Three members. Four places. One careful city.
